CHICAGO – Loyola Chicago women’s basketball student-athletes Vasiliki Cholopoulou and Mireia Jurado will represent their home countries at the FIBA U20 Women’s EuroBasket, which tips off Saturday. Cholopoulou, originally from Kozani, will compete for Greece in Division B in Samokov, Bulgaria. She was recognized by FIBA as one of the tournament’s Players to Watch. Greece opens Group Phase play against Albania on Saturday (July 4) at Triumph Hall. Jurado, a native of Barcelona, will suit up for defending Division A champion Spain in Klaipeda, Lithuania.
