Clarice Lucille Trimpe, 86, of Havana, passed away at her home at 4:21 p.m. on Thursday, December 25, 2025. She was born on May 11, 1939 in rural Mason County to Albert and Dorothy (Wendt) Trimpe. Clarice is survived by several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Ronald and James Trimpe; and nephews, Tracy and Kevin Trimpe. Clarice was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. She worked as a legal secretary for many years and was a member of the 4-H club. She loved bowling, reading, and doing puzzles, and was an avid Chicago Cubs, Bears, and Bulls fan. Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 2, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Havana, with a visitation one hour prior to the service from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Rev. Ian Heinze will officiate. Burial will follow the service at Laurel Hill Cemetery in Havana. Memorial donations may be made in Clarice’s name to WINGS at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.
