There are clubs, and there are sports bars. Buddy’s, a spot in Gramercy, lies somewhere in between. There are tons of TVs to watch every game, including a mini-version of the jumbotron at MSG in the middle of the bar. There’s also quasi-bottle service, large-format drinks like a margarita served in a replica trophy, as well as a “Glizzy Tower,” with three layers of hot dogs. It’s not the kind of place you want to go if you’re trying to lock into a game and pay attention to every second. But for a casual party vibe, it’s a good choice, and usually very busy, so make a reservation.
