Hardee’s is launching a promotional campaign called “Running on Full” to offer free breakfast biscuits to customers facing high gas prices, according to a press release.
From June 18 through July 2, members of the restaurant’s My Rewards loyalty program can upload a photo of their vehicle’s fuel gauge showing a quarter-tank of gas or less to the company’s campaign website. Once verified, Hardee’s will provide a digital coupon for a free Sausage Egg and Cheese Biscuit or a Bacon Egg and Cheese Biscuit.
Eligible entries will receive the rewards beginning June 18, and participants will have until Oct. 31 to redeem the offer through the Hardee’s mobile app.
According to data from the U.S. Energy Information Administration, fuel prices have risen by more than a dollar compared to the same time last year.
“With gas prices putting pressure on budgets everywhere, our customers are looking for ways to ease the financial burden,” Sarah Breymaier, vice president of brand marketing at Hardee’s, said in the press release. “We want to make sure our guests are feeling full at breakfast, the fuel that actually powers you. This offer is our way of making sure our customers stay fueled even when their vehicles’ tanks may be running low.”
