Kevin Gene Lascelles, 59, of Kilbourne, passed away at his home at 11:05 p.m., on Tuesday, September 22, 2026. He was born December 15, 1966, in Jacksonville, to Mervin and Carol (McCoy) Lascelles. He married Teresa Duez on January 24, 2013, on a beach in Mexico. She survives. Mr. Lascelles is survived by his wife, Teresa, of Kilbourne: two daughters: Salina English, and Irene (Zach) Knous; four grandchildren: Casey Knous, Lincoln Elmore, Adalynne Mae Knous, Finnick Elmore; sister, Lori Lascelles; half-sister Nancy Parker; step-sisters: Linda Gibson, Debbie Trojan, and Molly Dearing; as well as his beloved service dog, Frederick. He was preceded in death by his parents. Mr. Lascelles was an honorary lifetime member of FFA. He donated thousands of dollars to veteran’s organizations. He loved farming. He was known for raising sweet corn and potatoes. He enjoyed bird hunting, fishing, tractor pulls, and showing cattle with his daughter. He loved Case IH tractors. He was known for his big heart. Visitation will be held at Hurley Funeral Home, in Havana, on Wednesday, September 30th from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 1st at 11:00 am, also at the funeral home. Burial will follow the services at Bath Cemetery. Jimmy Lascelles will officiate. Memorial contributions may be made to Kilbourne Fire Department, or to Parkinson’s Research. Online memorial messages may be left for the family at www.hurleyfh.com.
