Men’s Golf Announces Spring Slate



CHICAGO – The Chicago State men’s golf team announced its spring slate today. The slate includes a trip to Puerto Rico for the Alabama State Hornet Invitational and the NEC Championships in Virginia in April.

The Cougars will also await selection for the 2025 PGAWorks tournament hosted by Whistling Straits in Kohler, Wisconsin May 5-7. The Cougars have placed in the top 5 in the prestigious tournament the last three years and earned runner-up honors in 2022.

Chicago State University sponsors 16 Division I intercollegiate athletic teams and competes in the Northeast Conference with the exception of men’s and women’s tennis who will compete in the Horizon League during the 2024-25 season. CSU’s athletic program includes over 150 student-athletes who compete in basketball, cross country, golf, soccer, tennis, indoor and outdoor track, triathlon and volleyball.
