As the second semester begins, so does the Men’s Volleyball season. The Eagles look to continue building on their strong 2025 campaign as they finished 3rd in the NACC going 16-10 in the regular season and 10-2 in conference play.
“Our expectation this year is to win the NACC and make a run in the national tournament,” said sophomore student Connor Herre.
Benedictine will return several key contributors, led by top scorer junior Chris Radomski, who averaged 3.93 points per set and 3.51 kills per set. The Eagles also welcome back senior Jordan Cardenas, who recorded 94 service points and 218 digs, averaging 2.32 digs per set. Senior Zander Feudner will also play a key role this season, posting a .967 receiving percentage on 366 attempts.
“Taking it one game at a time and not losing focus on the short-term goals that will get us to where we want to be later in the season,” said Herre.
The Eagles will take the court for the first game on Thursday, Jan. 15th where they will play Carthage College at Carthage. The Eagles’ first home game will be Tuesday, Jan. 20th against Illinois Wesleyan University at 7 P.M.
“I’m looking forward to our game at #2 Carthage this Thursday to start our season,” said Herre.
