Former President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama are in Chicago ahead of this week’s grand opening celebration for the Obama Presidential Center. The Center, which opens this Friday is located at 6001 S. Stony Island Avenue in Chicago. It’s a 19.3 acre campus located in Chicago’s Jackson Park.
The Center includes a replica of the Oval Office, a “We the People” exhibit, Michelle Obama’s iconic gowns; and a Sky Room.
Tickets are $30.00 for ages 12 and up; $23.00 for ages 3 to 11; children under 2 are free. For Illinois residents, tickets are $26 for ages 12 and up; $15.00 for ages 3 to 11.
Both Obamas toured the campus over the weekend. The Grand Opening celebration for the Obama Center will be held Friday through Sunday.
