Patricia Kay Umbach “Patti” 60, of Easton passed away on Tuesday, January 13, 2026 surrounded by the love of her family at home, after a courageous battle with cancer. Patti was born on October 11, 1965 in Lincoln to her parents Larry and Wanda Hatfield (Culler). Patti married the love of her life, Robert “Bob” Umbach on November 13, 1982 in Easton. They shared 43 years together filled with fun, love, and adventure. Patti was preceded in death by her mom, as well as several aunts and uncles. She is survived by her beloved husband, Bob; children, Rob (Kristi) Umbach, and Jena Umbach; grandchildren, Ethen, Parker, Kelbi, Finnley, and Loxli; her dad, Larry Hatfield; two sisters, Cindy (Mike) Hovey, Barb (Ron) Quinones, as well as five nieces and nephews, and five great-nieces and nephews. Patti worked at Ridgely Elementary, and Illini Central; along with various grain elevators, she also enjoyed her time volunteering at Dixon Mounds in the past. Patti was an exceptionally creative go getter, she loved crafting, woodworking, fishing, boating, but most of all traveling near & far with her husband. As an avid sports fan, always rooting for her favorite teams St. Louis Cardinals, and Illini Basketball. Patti had a natural caregiving spirit, cherishing her husband and their time together, as well as her kids, and grandkids. Family was the center of her world; she was devoted to her family. She embraced her roles as a wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, sister, and friend. Cremation has been accorded. A celebration of Patti’s life will be held on Saturday, February 21 at 4:00 pm at TT’s Place in Easton, 210 W Main St. Honorary pallbearers: everyone Patti has ever known, seen, or touched in her life to help send her to heaven.
