ST. LOUIS, Mo. – The Missouri Valley Conference released its Pre-championship poll ahead of the 2025 MVC Indoor Track & Field Championship this Sunday in Chicago.
The Illinois State men’s and women’s teams each earned top-3 rankings in Wednesday’s poll. The men’s squad received a No. 3 ranking and one first-place vote, with a point total of 83. The women’s team earned a No. 2 ranking and one place vote, with a total of 127 points.
The men’s squad fell one spot from the preseason ranking, however, they gained a first-place vote in the pre-championship poll. The women’s team moved up one spot from its No. 2 ranking in the preseason poll and also gained a first-place vote.
