Smør is now in the gummy candy game, and honestly we’re surprised it didn’t happen sooner. Slik is their Copenhagen-inspired East Village candy shop, yet another boutique, self-serve spot with excellent branding where you can spend a lot of money on licorice cats and sour cherry gummies. They also have a soft serve machine behind the counter with two available flavors—we tried a pineapple vanilla twist that tasted like Dole whip. BonBon enthusiasts don’t need to make a full pivot, but anyone who lunches at Smør or meets a friend for a pastry at their attached bakery should squeeze in a visit to Slik. That just makes sense.
